Sensors and actuators for people and the environment
Fraunhofer EMFT conducts applied research on sensors and actuators for people and the environment. The just over 100 employees at the three locations Munich, Oberpfaffenhofen and Regensburg have many years of experience and extensive know-how in microelectronics and microsystems technology. The technology offerings range from semiconductor processes and MEMS technologies through 3D integration to foil electronics. These close-to-production microtechnologies are the basis for the other fields of competence of the Fraunhofer EMFT: innovative sensor solutions, safe electronics and microdosage. It is the interdisciplinary interaction of these competencies that creates forward-looking solutions. As a result, Fraunhofer EMFT is ideally positioned to master current challenges in the fields of IoT and Smart Systems.
