Who is Captain’s Browser?
The Käpt’n Browser gGmbH was founded especially for the operation of day care centers in September 2005. The name goes back to a mascot – Käpt’n Browser is a cartoon character who wants to introduce children vividly and age-appropriate to technology, science and the world of the media.
We are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Technische Jugendfreizeit- und Bildungsgesellschaft (tjfbg) gGmbH from Berlin, which has been a competent and respected partner for municipal, state and federal authorities for more than 20 years. Here are the key facts about Käpt’n Browser gGmbH:
22 day care centers with around 1800 places,
ten KITAs in Berlin’s districts Treptow-Köpenick, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Mitte, Lichtenberg and Neukölln,
ten North Rhine-Westphalian day-care centers in Bergheim, Kerpen and Hürth (Rhein-Erft-Kreis), Hennef (Rhein-Sieg-Kreis) and Zülpich (Euskirchen district), as well as two kindergartens in Saxony (Saxon Switzerland),
Promotion and care of children from 8 weeks to school entry,
over 300 employees.
