You can study at the Tallinn Polytechnic on the basis of both primary and secondary education.
Learning on the basis of basic education takes place mainly on the basis of vocational secondary education curricula with a period of study of 3 to 3.5 years, and vocational education also acquires vocational secondary education. Learning in vocational secondary education curricula takes place in a stationary (day-to-day) form and ends with a final or vocational examination, and in the case of interest and aptitudes, students can also complete general state examinations and continue their studies at higher education institutions.
Learning on the basis of secondary education takes place mainly on the basis of vocational education curricula with a period of 1.5 to 2 years and mostly specialty subjects are studied. Learning takes place depending on the chosen field of study in either fixed (day) or non-stationary (so-called distance learning) form and ends with a final or professional examination. The curriculum of vocational education curricula of some specialties has been prepared flexibly and allows learning also from work.
Many specialties can be studied in both Estonian and Russian. Further information can be found at the specialty descriptions.
