The basis for this is the digitalSTROM platform. All devices in the house are networked with each other either via the power line or via IP. Analog devices (such as lights and blinds) can be digitized and networked retrospectively with the digitalSTROM terminals; already networked devices can be integrated in the digitalSTROM platform via AddOns. With digitalSTROM, all devices have access to the best algorithms in the world, they are able to learn and their functionalities are expanded. This automatically makes the home smarter.
At the same time, the digitalSTROM platform is flexible, manufacturer-independent and expandable. Even a single device is enough to use the full scope of the platform. The home can be flexibly adapted to changing life situations and individual needs at any time.
DigitalSTROM AG, based in Zurich-Schlieren (CH) and Wetzlar (D) distributes digitalSTROM in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and various European and non-European countries. The company is managed by CEO Martin Vesper. The company was last awarded the “Future Digital Award” for the best consumer product in the “Smart Home” category by the internationally renowned market research firm Juniper Research, and the “Total of Telecom Publishers” in the Internet of Things Awards (IoTA) Category “Smart Home Initiative”.
