Welcome to the fascinating world of EKU sliding solutions

Since its founding in 1992 EKU has been producing in-house developments of sophisticated sliding door fittings exclusively in Switzerland. Around 80% of the products are exported to 38 countries around the world. The design-oriented sliding solutions are used in a wide range of furniture such as living and sleeping areas, kitchens, offices or bathrooms. For glass and wood sliding doors in residential complexes, hotel and office complexes as well as clinics, EKU offers building fitting solutions.

Processors of sliding hardware such as carpenters and interior fitters benefit from the simple, time-saving installation of the EKU fittings: they appreciate the solid Swiss quality and the extensive range of web-based services.

Innovation as a driving force

Close cooperation with partners from industry and trade ensures the continuous development of existing sliding door fittings. The partnerships and the closeness to the customers and end users give impulses for new developments. EKU has 55 patents worldwide, currently employs 100 people, including 13 trainees in six different occupations.

EKU’s corporate policy also includes social goals, such as employing socially disadvantaged people, to help combat social isolation. With its own foundation “EKU Foundation” EKU supports since 1999 with an annual contribution from the company’s success projects that give people a chance to make their lives independently.
