At PFISTERER SEFAG AG in Malters / CH, not only is the distribution company for Switzerland found, it is also home to the PFISTERER Group’s Overhead Lines competence center. PFISTERER Ixosil AG is located in “Tellendorf” Altdorf / CH. Altdorf is located in the center of Switzerland and therefore in the middle of Europe, on the shortest international transit axis of Germany in the north and Italy in the south. Until 2000, the IXOSIL division belonged to the Datwyler cable factory. After the sale to PFISTERER, the company was renamed SEFAG IXOSIL AG and the Dätwyler premises were taken over as the company headquarters. As a result of the restructuring of the PFISTERER Group, the name was changed to PFISTERER IXOSIL AG at the beginning of 2006.

The export share of the company amounts to approx. 90% with investments of approx. 2 million Swiss Francs per year. With highly qualified workplaces and contact to the international working world, PFISTERER IXOSIL AG is an interesting employer for the inhabitants of the canton of Uri.
