Visionary has always had a tradition in the Glarus region. No wonder – in the narrow valley, it takes one thing above all else for a broad horizon: visions. This is exactly how Sauter Bachmann has made a name for itself internationally since its foundation in 1922.

We develop and produce gears, transmissions and complete drive systems of the highest quality. These are used, inter alia, in the fields of aerospace, aviation railway technology and military technology. Competent engineering, state-of-the-art production facilities and our own hardening shop together with our specialists form the basis of our success today and in the future.

All our processes comply with internationally relevant certification standards, both in the aerospace and industrial sectors. Our products are more than half exported, mainly to the USA and EU.
