About us
Heiniger AG was founded in 1941 in the heart of Switzerland and initially traded in fruit, potatoes, bananas and citrus fruits. These times are long gone, because today Heiniger is an international group with its own subsidiaries in Australia and New Zealand.

Heiniger quickly gained a good reputation as a quality producer of products and services in the agricultural industry. In 1965, Heiniger developed and produced the first electric livestock, horse and shearing machines. Today, Heiniger is the No. 1 in the world in the animal shredder Whether in Europe, North and South America, Oceania, Asia or Africa, whether sheep, cattle, camelids, horses, goats – millions of livestock are cut and maintained daily with Heiniger machines worldwide.
