Plasma nitriding, plasmanitrocarburizing and oxidizing of metallic workpieces, construction of plasma nitriding equipment, research and development – The company Plasmanitriertechnik was founded in September 1996 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sabine Böhm founded. The offer includes heat treatment in the contract and construction of plasma-based heat treatment plants.

In the more than 20 years of business activity, the company can look back on a steady development. The number of customers and order volumes rose rapidly, with the result that 12 plasma nitriding and nitrocarburizing plants are now in operation. With the move from the Technology Center Chemnitz to the current location in the Robert-Blum-Str. 21 Chemnitz in 2005, the possibility of expansion was created. Since 2005, the plasma nitriding plants are self-built and since 2010, the construction is carried out 100% in-house.

The number of employees has been steadily expanded. Numerous interns have completed their mandatory internships. Students from colleges and colleges as well as technical schools wrote diploma, bachelor and technician work on topics of plasma nitriding and adjacent areas.

For the future it is important to us not to stand still, but to develop ourselves further. We want to further develop the technologies with research and development projects. New plants are to be designed and built. In a proven way, we want to be there for our customers and handle the orders quickly and in very good quality
