Watts Industries Europe B.V. is the European division of Watts Water Technologies Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of building services products for residential, commercial and industrial use. Watts Water Technologies Inc. is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol WTS and employs approximately 4,400 people worldwide. Watts Industries Europe develops and manufactures a comprehensive SHK range. Sales are handled by specialized wholesalers and OEMs. With more than 25 companies, 20 sales offices and 20 manufacturing facilities across Europe, Watts Industries has more than 2,000 employees and annual sales of over € 400 million.

How it all started
In 1960, Josef Dumser founded the company Dumser Schaltanlagenbau in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Offenbach an der Queich. Under his direction, complex distribution and control cabinets were developed in the small production plant. Continuous growth characterized the following years – the change of name to Dumser Metallbau GmbH in 1979, the relocation to Landau and extensive investments in the years 1996 to 1999 impressively reflect this. In 2001, the “WATTS era” begins with the construction of a new logistics center and the name change to WATTS Dumser GmbH. In 2002, WATTS MTR from the Swabian town of Besigheim merges with WATTS Dumser GmbH at the Landau site to form today’s Watts Industries Deutschland GmbH.
