About us
CMC Klebetechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company that specializes in customer and application-specific solutions. The focus of activity is the coating of film-like products with functional and adhesive coatings.

Klebetechnik GmbH and the production company Colorit GmbH have been in existence since the 1950s, and have consistently developed their expertise and technical equipment during this time.

In our own development laboratory, modern adhesive formulations suitable for the applications e.g. developed in electrical engineering, the aerospace and automotive industries and many other industries. Together with our many years of experience in application and technology, experienced and competent consultants develop tailor-made solutions with you – gladly on site as well.

On several different coating systems, which are up-to-date with environmental technology, the most diverse film-like materials are coated with functional surfaces. And what does not fit, is customized. This also applies to the possibilities for formatting, cutting and punching.

On a plot of approx. 25,000m², around 100 employees work at the Frankenthal location in the Palatinate.

Our suppliers are also important partners to us. It is the well-known manufacturers such. Du Pont, BASF, Mitsubishi and Bayer – but also a number of small specialists.

Since 1995, Klebetechnik and Colorit have been certified to ISO 9001, and since 2000 also to ISO 14001. Many of our standard adhesive tapes are UL-listed and are registered in the IMDS system of the automotive industry. All tapes comply with the RoHS regulation and are therefore not subject to any restrictions.

Reducing the price of an adhesive tape to the price per square meter and then making comparisons between suppliers A and B does not do justice to the service of CMC Klebetechnik.

Unlike many converters (dealers) with a very wide range of products from different manufacturers and product characteristics, CMC Klebetechnik uses only self-made adhesive tapes. This in-house production provides a great background knowledge about the used foils and adhesives, which the experienced employees can optimally contribute to the solution of customer requirements.

CMC Klebetechnik not only puts the adhesive tape itself at the center of its offer, but also offers advice and customer-specific developments.

That’s why an adhesive tape from CMC Klebetechnik is not just an interchangeable product that only depends on the price.

Adapted system solutions and a good service offer reduce the “total cost of ownership”. An optimally selected product helps to save costs during procurement (for example, availability in the required version), assembly (reduced production time) and field service (lower follow-up costs due to a long service life).
