With this approach, Schmettenstechnik Plettenberg, with its approx. 480 employees and the experience of a long tradition, produces precision components for an international customer spectrum.
“Forging To The Limit” is the constant challenge of our customers from the automotive industry, as well as the mechanical engineering, which we face every day. With a turnover of approx. Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg demonstrates its competence as a partner to its customers with the achievement of optimal cost-benefit ratios, in particular in the production of components and / or components for the transmission, engine and powertrain sectors.

Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg offers interesting jobs both in the commercial sector (tool mechanic, industrial mechanic, blacksmith, crack detector) and in the commercial / technical area.
Targeted further education offers employees career opportunities. Dual study courses, master and technician training are not only offered but financially supported (mostly 100%).
Training / Internships
Training is very important for the “STP”. We successfully train in the professions of industrial clerk, industrial mechanic, tool mechanic, mechatronics technician, technical product designer and materials tester.
Through integrated study programs, our future junior employees are specifically prepared and trained for the upcoming management tasks.
