About us
At KEMPER, we have made the progress in terms of building technology, casting technology and rolled products on the flags. Our products are used all over the world. Of our roughly 900 employees, about 800 work at the headquarters and only production site of the group in Olpe. In addition, there are 100 employees in the subsidiaries and foreign branches.
We are well prepared for future challenges: we see continued high demand in all our businesses and expect to continue along this path of healthy growth. To do this, we are investing heavily in research and development and expanding our production capacities.
For five generations, our company has been in family hands. Our products have changed over the years. What we have left is our attitude: we are progress-makers and we know that in order to live up to this claim, we must continue to develop ourselves.
According to an IHK study on the region’s “hidden champions”, we are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fittings and system technology in the field of building services. Among the global market leaders, our company also finds itself in the field of rolled copper alloy strips.
The KEMPER brand is known above all in building technology. One example of this is the drinking water hygiene system KHS: it is the answer to treacherous pathogens such as legionella, which multiply rapidly when water is kept in pipelines too long. The system flushes the lines automatically and sensor-controlled, so that the necessary consumption is minimized.
In the production areas of casting technology and rolled products, components are produced in Südwestfalen that are usually invisible to the end user. Economically, these product areas, in which the material and process competence of our traditional company is manifest, play an important role.
As a specialist for weight-optimized, flow-optimized castings, innovative material developments and environmentally conscious manufacturing processes, we process 3,300 tons of bronze alloys per year for customer cast parts and fittings. The contracting parties are the manufacturers of water technology plants and components, according to whose specifications gunmetal components are manufactured individually. Tools for 3D-CAD design and simulation of the casting processes ensure casting-optimized, even under water-tight products.
