The Lüdenscheid Institute of Plastics, an affiliated institute of the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia, focuses on improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of injection molding parts made of thermosets and thermosetting plastics. As a private service provider, the institute was founded in 1988 as an “extended workbench”, making it one of the most experienced providers in this sector.

The Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid currently employs around 100 people.
