About us
Achenbach Buschhütten is an owner-managed family business with over 560 years of history. Founded in 1452 as an iron hammer, it became an iron foundry in 1846 before 1888 saw the construction of rolling mills.

Today, Achenbach is a worldwide supplier of first-class rolling mills for non-ferrous metals, rolling mill automation and rolling oil filtration and exhaust air purification plants. Furthermore, Achenbach is globally successful with the OPTIFOIL® brand for pioneering winding and cutting machines for non-ferrous metals and converting materials.

The top quality of our machines and equipment as well as their swift and smooth final assembly and commissioning at the customer is ensured by our own modern production of all significant components for precision and speed as well as the pre-assembly of our machines and systems in our own workshops.
