Founded in 1935, MENNEKES Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG is the developer of the European charging plug standard for electric vehicles and the leading manufacturer of industrial plugs and sockets.
The company has subsidiaries and representations in more than 90 countries and employs 1,000 people worldwide, of which two thirds are in Germany. The product range includes standardized industrial plug-and-socket devices in more than 15,000 different types and designs, as well as all fields of electromobility: from vehicle plug-in devices via charging cables to complex charging systems.
