BU Power Systems, as Perkins Distributor, is responsible for sales and after sales service for Perkins diesel and gas engines. All around the engine, BU Power Systems offers customer-oriented drive solutions for industrial, construction and agricultural applications, as well as for power generation and ships. Throughout Europe, we guarantee professional product advice and complete service in all 15 countries around the engine.

The service portfolio of BU Power Systems extends from engine sales through spare parts sales to individual service. The sale includes the qualified product consultation with a conceptual elaboration, prototype development, individual customer adjustments through the application management, sourcing and training. A comprehensive after-sales service ensures the care of the engines after the purchase. With short response times, professional handling and optimum spare parts availability, BU Service meets the highest standard in the industry.

BU Power Systems is present in Germany, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Croatia and Slovenia with legally independent companies, each of which operates under the name “BU Power Systems” and in part further markets, e.g. in the Balkans, serve. In total, around 170 employees work for the group of companies (BU Power Group) and guarantee professional product advice and complete service around the engine. Thus, our customers benefit from an intercultural business culture with a strong local presence as well as from the advantages of a Europe-wide, highly specialized group of companies.
The BU Power Group has service centers, workshops and warehouses in Germany, Italy, Poland, Croatia and Slovenia. The storage area for Perkins’ extensive range of motors, generators and original parts covers more than 7,000 square meters.

In 1989, the company took over the first Perkins contract for northwestern Germany, and since 2005 has held Perkins exclusive distribution rights for the German, since 2008 for the Polish and since 2011 for the Italian market. Since 2012, the company has been the official Perkins and Perkins Marine Power Distributor for the states of former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo) and Albania. At the beginning of 2017, BU Power Systems commenced sales activities for Perkins in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Perkins is one of the world’s leading suppliers of diesel and gas engines in the 4 to 2,000 kW power range. FG Wilson is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of generators in the power classes from 10 to 2,200 kVA.
