In 1959, Heinrich Wolfgang Steinel founded STEINEL in Herzebrock-Clarholz. Since then, STEINEL has consistently developed from a pioneer to a technology and innovation leader in the market segments of lighting control technology as well as hot air guns and hot glue guns.
Its own development centers in Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland produce innovative and intelligent products of world renown. Production takes place exclusively in the company’s own plants in Germany, Switzerland, Romania and Moldova.
The brands STEINEL and STEINEL PROFESSIONAL offer products and solutions for home improvement and professional users alike today. The STEINEL PROFESSIONAL brand includes intelligent products and sophisticated systems for the professional user. Energy efficiency and the latest LED and sensor technology are in the foreground here. High-quality home improvement products for more safety and comfort in everyday life are marketed by the STEINEL brand through selected DIY stores. Seven own sales offices in England, France, Italy, Austria, Romania, the United States and United Arab Emirates as well as an extensive network of independent distributors support the STEINEL sales activities in more than 70 countries.
