The Schoeller plant is one of the leading international manufacturers of longitudinally welded stainless steel tubes. The company was founded in 1827 and is still based in Hellenthal in the Eifel. The product portfolio includes TIG and laser welded stainless steel tubes, retraced precision tubes in straight production and fixed lengths as well as ring tubes. As an innovation-driven company, plant technologies and product portfolios are continuously developed in accordance with customer and market requirements. The basis for the high quality of the products are the high-performance machinery, many years of experienced technical staff and comprehensive quality management. Every year around 90 million meters of stainless steel tubes are produced in Hellenthal.
At the Schoeller plant, customers receive everything from a single source: from technical advice, application-specific product development and pipe production, to requirements-oriented quality checks and individual logistics services. Together with its customers, the company develops and produces solutions tailored to the respective requirements.
For the customer-specific further development of the product solutions, the Schoeller plant is in close contact with the material-supplying steel mills. As a result, the tubes are available in different materials and are used wherever the highest demands are made on heat and corrosion resistance. The classic application areas of the stainless steel tubes produced include the automotive industry, apparatus engineering, the construction industry, the chemical industry, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, power station, home and medical technology, the food industry, desalination plants and offshore applications.
