2G Energy AG is a leading international manufacturer of combined heat and power plants (CHP) for the decentralized provision of electricity and heat based on natural gas, biomethane, biogas, sewage gas, landfill gas or hydrogen powered gas engines. The portfolio includes systems with an electrical output of 20 to 2,000 kW. The customer spectrum ranges from the farmer to municipalities, the housing industry, commercial enterprises, the medium-sized industry and large-scale industry to the energy industry.

In addition to the headquarters with development and production in Heek in the Münsterland, 2G has another production site in the USA. In addition, 2G is represented by its own subsidiaries in several European countries. Since its founding in 1995, 2G has been operating more than 4,500 systems worldwide.
