About us
The Maschinenfabrik Carl Kurt Walther, Wuppertal, was founded in 1931. WALTHER-PRÄZISION was created in the 1950s as a result of the demand of company founder Carl Kurt Walther to be able to quickly and conveniently connect and disconnect the supply lines of the company’s own production facilities and its own machine program of the WALTHER-TROWAL division (vibratory finishing technology).
Because of the technical and economic advantages of the quick couplings WALTHER PRECISION offered the German market from 1951 first series. Many of these first-of-its-kind products are still in perfect working order today.
For decades, WALTHER-PRÄZISION has been a global specialist in quick-release systems. With its products, the company pursues the goal of customer-oriented innovation, combined with the highest quality while respecting the environment. There is no mass produced. Standard and special quick couplings, whether milled, turned, welded, glued, cast, sprayed, stamped, pressed or formed on a large number of surfaces, do not leave the factory without a functional and leak-tight test. The WALTHER quick coupling systems are used wherever liquids, vapors, gases, electrical and optical signals as well as power must be safely transmitted and separated. For the automotive, aerospace, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, offshore, medical technology, traffic engineering, mechanical and plant engineering and defense technology, the company develops problem solutions for the highest demands and extreme environmental conditions. With more than 400,000 variants, the world’s most extensive range of monocouplings, multi-couplings and docking systems is offered. Quick-release systems are used, for example, for the automation and flexible, rational use of tools, components and media-carrying pipelines, on land, in water and in the air.
