About us
Daikin Chemical Europe based in Dusseldorf was founded in 1992 as a subsidiary of Daikin Industries. As the European headquarters of Daikin’s Chemicals division, we are responsible for the distribution of high-performance fluorochemical products in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In addition, our experienced team provides customized technical service. Due to the special properties of fluorine, our products are used in many industrial sectors, including the automotive, textile and pharmaceutical industries, in cables and displays, in photovoltaics, wind power and refrigeration technology. Today we have production sites in Europe in Germany, France and the Netherlands and currently employ 180 people.

Daikin Industries, headquartered in Osaka, Japan, was founded in 1924 and is today the world market leader in air conditioning technology and one of the leading manufacturers of fluorochemicals with currently 59,000 employees worldwide.
