SHS stands for increased productivity, product quality and efficiency in plastics processing
The SHS plus GmbH deals with the increase of quality, productivity and efficiency with an exclusive focus on the plastics processing industry. SHS offers solutions from the four business areas Consulting, Software, Technology and Virtual Assistance Systems.

In the area of ​​consulting, SHS acts as a troubleshooter and solves problems encountered by plastics processing companies. The typical problems include quality or productivity affecting topics such as beard formation, sheet travel, specks, shrinkage, streaks, voids, vacuoles, piston rings, flatness and many other problems in the field of injection molding, extrusion or other plastic processing.

In the business segment technology, SHS is primarily concerned with process data acquisition and the production of communication possibilities of machines. SHS relies on commercial control systems as well as its own product solutions such as plusMETER / plusWARE® process data acquisition.

The simulation software chillWARE® allows the complete thermodynamic simulation of almost any extrusion process and thus the calculation of phenomena such as residual stress, crystallization degree, temperature distribution or the tendency to deform extruded products and is used internationally by plastics processors and machine builders. The plastics processor named the simulation software the product of the year twice in a row (2016 and 2017, 2nd place each).

By combining the fields of consulting, simulation and technology, SHS combines all the competences necessary for the further development of plastics processing in the direction of Industry 4.0 and virtual assistance. Through our activities in the field of troubleshooting, we have the necessary process technology know-how, that of our technology systems analyze and evaluate collected process data from the processing process. We implement the necessary methods in individual software systems and thus arrive at our unique virtual assistance systems for plastics processing processes.
