The Kirchner Group can look back on a long history.
The family business was founded in 1902 by Hermann Kirchner in Schlaupitz /
Silesia.
His son Erwin Kirchner took over the business in 1940
and moved, due to the war turmoil in the Edewecht. Here he built a blacksmith shop and was added to the craft role in 1952 .
With the beginning of the 1960s, the company expanded its range of services in addition to the smelting works by repairing and selling tractors and agricultural machinery . The industrial work area widened and strengthened the upswing. New production halls were erected in response to the extra space required.
In 1975 , with the entry of the third generation into the factory by blacksmith master Manfred Kirchner, the expanded production areas were divided into three main pillars:
mechanical engineering
plant construction
Steel and steel hall construction.
In 1984 , the fourth generation joined the company with mechanical engineer and business economist Heiko Kirchner. In 2001 , the steel and steel hall construction was spun off with the purchase of the site in Wardenburg. At the end of 2003 Kirchner Stahlbau GmbH came into being.
HMK Kirchner Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH based in Edewecht manufactures on state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machines. It mainly produces welded assemblies for mechanical engineering.
Employed here are 30 employees who were trained for the most part in our home.
KIRCHNER Stahlbau GmbH is now a modern service company offering halls for crafts, industry, trade or commerce to private or commercial builders as well as planners and architects.
Nationwide construction projects are the reference for the perfect interplay between quality craftsmanship, industrial prefabrication and personal construction supervision.
All services from the preparation of the building application to the “key handover” are guaranteed from a single source. The client has competent contact persons at Kirchner in all phases of the project.
Even trained designers at CAD workplaces and skilled workers in the production of CNC-controlled machines enable a perfect preparation of the steel constructions. The assembly with experienced technicians, used by the own construction supervisor, ensure a smooth process on the building sites.
The annually delivered capacity of individually planned steel halls, standard and mobile halls from the modular system, sports halls, office and commercial buildings as well as other plant and mechanical engineering, amounts to 45 employees and 8 apprentices over 4,500 t. KIRCHNER is one of the first medium-sized steel construction companies in Germany, which have acquired the qualification according to the European standard “EUROCODE”.
An excerpt from the list of references shows that from the regional craft business to the global player, everyone relies on the quality and punctuality of KIRCHNER steel construction.
