About us
Europe’s largest manufacturer of natural colors and natural binders.
The biopin group consists of five independent companies in Germany and Ireland.

The company’s focus lies in two fields of competence:

Production of binders
for the adhesives and coatings industry on a pure basis of renewable raw materials.

The binder production takes place at our own plants in Jever and Ireland.

For the development of special formulations for customized applications have their own laboratory in Jever.

Our binders are fundamentally based on the high-temperature boiling of vegetable oils such as linseed, safflower, castor, tung, calendula oil and others.

Our current production capacity of pure binders is more than 8,360,000 liters per year.

The production of paints, waxes and oils takes place only in Germany.
Our recipes are maintained and developed in the fourth generation.
Company founder Ben Palm has based his product development on the experience of running his grandparents and parents in the Netherlands. His daughter José Palm is now following in his footsteps and is actively involved in corporate succession.

All components of our products, even the pigment pastes, are produced by ourselves.
Only in this way can we ensure that we do not have any “contamination” due to residues of undesired recipe components in our products.
