In the year 2002 mosaiques diagnostics was founded in Hannover. The core competence of the company is the early and reliable detection of diseases through fast and accurate analysis of proteins and peptides in body fluids via a so-called diagnostic pattern (-> DiaPat® Tests – www.diapat.de).

For this purpose, mosaiques diagnostics has developed a method based on clinical proteome analysis, with which the early and differential diagnosis of cardiovascular, renal and also urogenital diseases is possible. In addition, acute graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), rejection after stem cell transplantation for leukemia and bile duct carcinoma can be diagnosed early.

Diagnosis of other indications such as Alzheimer’s disease, heart failure and nephrotoxicological effects of drugs is under development.

The diagnosis is reliably based on highly specific patterns of several simultaneously detected biomarkers (proteins / peptides) and is painless and risk-free for the patient. mosaiques diagnostics uses high-resolution, capillary electrophoresis coupled mass spectrometers (CE-MS technology), which enable the separation of body fluids, especially urine, in less than an hour.
