The globally active Nexans Group has around 26,000 employees in 34 countries and generated sales of 6.4 billion euros in 2017. Nexans is listed on Euronext Paris (Compartment A).
NEXANS GERMANY
Nexans Germany is one of the leading cable manufacturers in Europe. The company offers a comprehensive line of high performance cables, systems and components for the telecommunications and energy sectors. The program is rounded off by superconducting materials and components, Cryoflex transfer systems and special machines for the cable industry.
It is produced in Germany and abroad with approx. 11,000 employees in several locations. Sales in 2016 amount to approx. 1 billion euros. Thanks to its close integration into the Nexans Group, Nexans Deutschland has excellent opportunities for utilizing synergies in all areas of the Group. This applies to worldwide projects as well as to research and development, exchange of know-how, etc.
DIVISIONS
Major business areas include energy transport and distribution (on land and under water), energy resources (oil and gas, mining and renewable energy), transport (road, rail, air, sea) and construction (commercial, residential and data center).
RESPONSIBILITY
In 2013, Nexans was the first cable company to set up a foundation to support initiatives that help disadvantaged groups worldwide gain access to energy. In addition, Nexans is an active member of Europacable, the European Association of Wire and Cable Manufacturers, and a signatory to Europacable’s Industrial Charter, with which the association members commit to common principles and objectives for the development of ethical, sustainable and high-quality cable.
