The company Köhne Waagen Celle originated from the company Herbert Köhne from Hannover-Ahlem. Herbert Köhne Waagen was founded in 1928 and since 1950 has been focusing on the construction of scales, weighing equipment and filling machines for bedsprings and down.

However, the entire experience of our company is based not only on such “niche knowledge”, but rather based on a broad base of weighing technical knowledge. From mechanical scales to the Ethernet connection: We know our way around.

So we manufacture e.g. for the industrial sector also floor scales, crane scales and counting scales.

Our service also includes precision balances from Sartorius, Kern and Shinko for the laboratory sector.

We also develop custom-made products (pilot plants) and optimize existing weighing equipment.

Furthermore, we create the software for the control of plants or the administration of processes and processes. An example is the identification and control of goods by means of contactless identification (barcode, RFID). Even if your existing merchandise management system is to be extended by a balance interface, then we are your contact person.

Since January 2012, we have acquired the largest scale program in Germany, the Waagen-Schmitt Group, through the takeover of Kilomatic Wiegetechnische GmbH Hannover.
