As a special company for pickling stainless steel and aluminum in pickling plants, Siedentop has made a name for itself on the market.

In September 1986 Friedrich-Werner Siedentop founded the company Siedentop Edelstahl-Oberflächentechnik.

From the beginning, the company specialized in the pickling of stainless steel. Great emphasis is placed on comprehensive customer service and support. So the customer gets everything from the planning of a pickling plant to the complete facility and the associated pickling chemicals from a single source. Even the wastewater and exhaust air systems are planned and manufactured by the company Siedentop. Pickling bath and wastewater analyzes are prepared in the in-house laboratory.

The company founder attaches great importance to the environmentally friendly pickling of metals. For example, since 1999, the company has launched a nitrate-free dip pickling process that eliminates the need to regenerate or change spent pickling acid while maintaining excellent surface quality.

The latest development in the pickling sector is a fully automatic pickling plant in container form. In this Rotainer pickling plant, stainless steel and aluminum parts can be fully automatically degreased, pickled, rinsed and passivated.

With this method it is possible to bake completely without exhaust gas and also without waste water. The Beizer no longer comes in contact with the pickling acids. In 2005, Siedentop GmbH received the patent for this new pickling process.
