The Oskar Widmer GmbH is a manufacturer of custom-made sun protection systems. Founded in 1886, the company has developed into a complete provider of interior and exterior sun protection based on spring wave technology, in which WIDMER now operates throughout Europe. In the outdoor area, the product range includes:

In the spring shaft range, spring shafts, spring mechanisms and self-propelled rollers with tensile forces of 1 to 180 kg are produced for a wide variety of industries and applications.
In addition to the spring shaft series program, WIDMER also manufactures customer-specific custom-made products as well as extensive accessories (spring-loaded end bearings, roller blind brakes, ball-bearing mechanisms, expanders, roller blind bars, etc.).

In 2010, as part of the succession plan, the company was handed over to new hands in order to set the course for a successful future. In the anniversary year 2011, WIDMER is waiting with some new products, such as highly decorative double roller blinds, the so-called honeycomb pleats, with which you can even save heating energy in winter, and wavy slat curtains, called wavelelines.
