The automated Kohlstrunkbohrmaschine “Top-Drill” is characterized by its high performance and ease of use. Due to the single drive of the drilling units, the drilling stroke speed and the drilling depth can be adjusted individually. The frame, the panels and the control cabinet are made of stainless steel. The cabbages are placed on the baskets which are mounted at a distance of 400 mm on the conveyor belt. Upon reaching the drilling station, the drilling unit is driven down by a linear actuator and uses a special drill to shred the stem from the cabbages. The drilling depth, the Bohrhubgeschwindigkeit and the conveyor belt speed can be adjusted on a touch-sensitive screen (touchscreen display).

The “Top-Drill” is available in 2 versions. The “Top-Drill-Single” is equipped with a drilling station and the “Top-Drill-Duo” is equipped with 2 parallel drilling stations.
