About us
The Department of Separating and Mating Manufacturing Processes (tff) is part of the Institute for Production Engineering and Logistics of the University of Kassel.
The tff is responsible in its capacity as a chair at a university for teaching and research in the areas of manufacturing technology, production technology, welding technology, adhesive technology, chip technology, automation technology and blasting technology in the field of mechanical engineering.

In addition to scientific research and teaching, the tff offers services for industry and science in the above areas. In addition to current and completed public research projects, tff has extensive experience from projects and services with industrial partners.
