POWER SUPPLY CONVERTER
Switching power supply converters have replaced the conventional power transformers in many places. With their high operating frequency, the converters can be realized much smaller with comparable performance. Optimized winding construction ensures maximum efficiency.

High-voltage transformers for medical imaging, collision avoidance of ships by radar scanning, filtering of polluted air in industrial halls or plasma activation of surfaces.
HV TRANSFORMER
Compact high-voltage converters are finding their way into an increasing number of industrial sectors – as a high-voltage transformer with 50 Hz, as a high-voltage converter up to 150 kHz or as a high-voltage pulse transformer for pulse powers up to 15 MW.

(AUDIO) TRANSFORMER
Pikatron transformers are used, for example, in studio technology, in communications technology, in measurement and control technology and also in the aerospace industry. They are manufactured in all realizable core shapes and are known for their excellent transmission properties.

COILS AND CHOKES
Pikatron chokes and coils have their place in a wide variety of applications: in switching power supplies, as storage chokes, PFC chokes and chokes, for radio interference suppression or as a frequency-determining component in oscillating circuits. They can also be found in electromobility.

Antennas for use in retail security, in Industrie 4.0 applications or in RFID transponder systems.
ANTENNAS AND RFID
Whether for securing merchandise, in manufacturing, for example, for Industry 4.0, in access control at the ski lift or in animal husbandry: Transponder and antenna systems are nowadays indispensable. Inductive charging systems are also among the main applications.

Magnetic sensors for wind speed measurement, geomagnetic field determination, conductivity measurement or eddy current measurement.
MAGNETIC SENSORS
For magnetic sensors, we supply either only the primary sensor or the entire sensor system including the evaluation electronics. Examples are anemometers for wind speed measurement, fluxgate compasses for geomagnetic field determination or conductivity probes for liquids.

Pikatron goes beyond the design and manufacture of the pure inductive component and supports you with your assembly or your entire system.
SYSTEM SOLUTIONS
During development, our engineers will assist you in selecting sensor designs, materials, and material suppliers. By using a variety of technologies, such as assembly and casting technologies and our own equipment manufacturing, we are able to produce entire systems.
