Alliance-mim is the first manufacturer to successfully combine the benefits of 3D printing with those of MIM technology and create the Digital MIM. Prototypes and small batches can be produced without tools close to the final contour. The final MIM sintering process produces the homogeneous microstructure for ideal surfaces and material properties.

The technology
MIM (for metal alloys) or CIM (for ceramics) is a microtechnical molding process based on plastic injection molding and powder metallurgy.

Two levels of quality are available: the standard version and a high-end version with post-processing capabilities and specialized material testing to meet the needs of medical and aerospace applications.
