Mikron Berlin is part of Mikron Automation, a division of the Mikron Group. Mikron Automation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of customized, high-performance automation systems for the high-precision assembly and testing of up to hand-sized products. These include, for example, inhalers, insulin syringes, gasoline injectors and airbag triggers.

The main site of Mikron Automation is located in Boudry (Neuchâtel), a region considered to be the heart of the Swiss watch industry. Mikron Automation has installed over 3000 assembly and test systems worldwide. Its international customers are active in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry, in the automotive, electrical / electronics, consumer goods and construction industries. Mikron Automation employs around 590 people, spread over locations in Boudry (Switzerland, headquarters), Berlin (Germany), Denver (USA), Singapore and Shanghai (China).
