Grasse Composite Testing specializes in the testing of fiber-reinforced plastics and operates an ISO 17025 accredited materials testing laboratory at its Berlin site. In addition, the company is developing reference testing equipment for materials testing, distributing US-Plus online process control, and offering specialist composite testing workshops at its site.

The company was founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). First, the focus of entrepreneurial activities has been on the development of test equipment. Since 2013, Grasse Zur Composite Testing has been running a materials testing laboratory, which was accredited in 2018. In 2016, specialist seminars were added to the portfolio, which take place in the in-house seminar room and are held by well-known lecturers from industry and research. In the same year took over the subsection of ultrasonic technology of the company sensor and laser technology SLT. The US Plus technology has been developed, scientifically validated with BAM and has been established in the automotive and aerospace industries for over twenty years.
