You will encounter our curved pipes at trade fairs, boats and bridges as well as when looking at furniture or artworks. Even in the air, our bent parts can be found.

The rotary draw bending:

The mandrel bending process opens up many possibilities, e.g. in the furniture industry or in mechanical engineering. Typical are

tight bending radii of approx. 2 times the pipe diameter (R = 2xD neutral chamfer
Straight lines and arcs that alternate
free orientation in the room.
In the method of mandrel bending, the tube is pushed onto the mandrel and fixed with the jaw on the tool. In the next step, the bending roller rotates with the clamping device and the tube is bent down from the mandrel around the tool.

A typical effect of mandrel bending are wrinkles on the inside of the bend, which are caused by compressed material. Wrinkle browsing counteracts this effect.

The special feature of mandrel bending: a separate tool set is required for every combination of pipe diameter and bending radius. We offer Dornbiegeleistungen on the basis of over 130 different tools.
