About us
The company “Graphite Materials” was founded in 2000 by Dr.-Ing. Rolf Terjung was founded in Zirndorf near Nuremberg with the motto “from the idea to the component” and today is divided into two areas.

The company “Dr.-Ing. Rolf Terjung – Graphite Materials – Service | Sales | Sales” is a distributor of the graphite materials natural graphite, coating and foil as well as sepiolite.

The “Graphite Materials GmbH” is a manufacturing company for Graphite components, system supplier for high-temperature applications and distribution partner for graphite electrodes, as used in the electric arc furnaces of the steel industry (EAF = Electric Arc Furnace or LF = Ladle Furnace) can be used.

With 30 employees, the entire process from material technology and material-specific consulting, through the design and component development, to the mechanical processing of graphite, CFC and felt in single part and series part production is covered.

This includes the revision of vacuum and inert gas furnaces, for which our own spare parts production and a comprehensive parts service are accessed.

In addition to pure revision, the engineering services meanwhile make an ever-increasing area. For example, improving energy efficiency through increased energy prices plays a significant role. For this purpose, among other things, a thermal simulation based on the finite element method (FEM) is used.
