Meeting with tufts: a fine-cutting experience
With this slogan the 1921 founded and still in the family owned medium-sized H. u. E. Büschel GmbH until today for quality and experience in fineblanking technology and toolmaking.
The two Büschel plants in Schwaig and Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf (Thuringia) produce high-precision stamped parts of a sophisticated technical standard, which are mainly used in the automotive industry (including parts for injection nozzles, seat adjusters or turbochargers).
A constantly growing sales volume of currently EUR 50 million and long-term business relationships with companies all over the world are representative of the continuity and success of Büschel.
Flexibility and variety of services
“Nobody can go beyond the limits of physics, but for our customers we are very close to the limits of what is feasible,” say managing directors Fred and Rolf Büschel. Thanks to special hardening techniques and novel coatings, Tuft can realize even the finest toothing and very narrow webs. Thus, Tuft “the perfect partner” is also suitable for demanding tasks – such as products where weight reduction or limited installation space are important.
Modern fineblanking presses produce a diverse range of parts in 3-shift operation in order to be able to fulfill every customer request. Almost all metallic materials such as C-steels, higher alloyed chromium and chromium-nickel steels, fine grain steels, special steels, non-ferrous metals, aluminum and aluminum alloys are processed up to a width of 450 mm and in thicknesses up to 15 mm. The annual throughput is over 13,000 tons of steel per year. With a broad machine spectrum also in the area of deburring, Büschel ensures that customers receive burr-free, ready-to-install parts. For the realization of specific material hardnesses or surface finishes, Büschel cooperates with reliable partners, who themselves are largely based in the region.
Beside the core business of fineblanking technology, the range of services offered by Büschel includes another important point: A fineblanking part is only as good as the tool used for its production. As a quality supplier, Büschel develops, designs and constructs its own tools and produces them in its own toolmaking department.
Another special feature of the company Büschel is the “full service principle”. Thus, the customer is intensively cared for in the production apron. Together, the customer and the technical consultants develop ideas for the perfect implementation of construction, product design and order processing.
