About us
BioPark Regensburg GmbH is a cluster management company and operates a technology and start-up center on the grounds of the University of Regensburg with currently three buildings. BioRegio Regensburg is a cluster region certified in Eastern Bavaria according to the federal initiatives BioRegio (1996), Kompetenznetze.de (2006) and the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ESCA) with the Silver Label.

The BioPark offers a flexible rental concept with extensive technology and services on 18,000 m2, of which 5,400 m2 are high-quality laboratories, from the individual office to the large-scale office / laboratory combination. Its location directly on the University Campus offers excellent location factors, a direct motorway access and an in-house KITA.

Our mission is to promote biotechnology in the region. For this purpose, we are steadily expanding the network of the BioRegio Regensburg as well as the Technology and Incubator Center. With classic elements of cluster policy, business promotion and location marketing, we support and promote the development of life sciences in the region.

As part of our public relations work, we actively participate in dialogue on biotechnology on the ground and support young people in their career orientation.

As a company in the city of Regensburg, our goal is to write a business black-and-white through a balanced relationship between support and demands in order to ensure the sustainable promotion of society through funds from the European Union, the Federal Government, the Free State of Bavaria and the City of Regensburg.

Our vision is to make the BioPark one of the leading innovation centers and the cluster BioRegio Regensburg to a successful productive network in the field of life sciences. In this way, we want to provide Regensburg and the region of Eastern Bavaria with another, highly innovative and future-oriented economic sector and create corresponding jobs.

Furthermore, by promoting the fascination of biotechnology, we want to bring it closer to the population as part of the technologies for a better life and as a potential career goal.
