LTN Servotechnik GmbH is a renowned supplier of electromechanical components for industrial control and drive technology based in Otterfing near Munich and currently employs around 250 people.
Since its founding in 1979, LTN has developed into a specialist in electric drive technology in the mechanical and plant engineering sector with an international clientele. The company manufactures slip rings for reliable transmission of power and signals, as well as resolvers for maintenance-free, precise control tasks. While LTN’s components are rarely visible to end users, they are built into many everyday products. Together with its customers, LTN develops customer-specific and innovative solutions so that revolving doors rotate, electric motors work efficiently or wind turbines produce electricity. A high level of vertical integration paired with state-of-the-art test and test procedures ensure consistently high product quality.
For the LTN, winner of the Business Award 2015 of the district of Miesbach, regionality and globality are not contradictory. The innovative products and solutions of the company are developed and produced in Upper Bavaria and are then used all over the world. For example, hospital equipment suppliers in France also rely on quality “Made in Otterfing”, such as mining companies in South America or wind farm operators in China.
