The Hofmann GmbH – from Gräfenberg-Haidhof – is idyllically situated in the heart of the Franconian Switzerland Nature Park and at the same time conveniently located in the middle of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region and the Medical Valley. When it comes to the three most important requirements for modern production – highest quality, high productivity and economic efficiency – Hofmann GmbH is an ideal partner, also for problem solutions and efficiency optimization in the automotive and medical technology sectors. The new, state-of-the-art plant in Haidhof, built in 2007, was designed for optimal efficiency and labor productivity in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Project Group Process Innovation.

For the processing of, for example medical technical, components the highest possible precision, cleanliness and competence of the employees is required. The basis is formed by a separate CAD / CAM department and the ability of all employees in the area of ​​production 2D to program. Equipped with state-of-the-art five-axis CNC turning and milling centers in combination with highly qualified and permanently trained employees, products of the highest quality are produced. The extensive expertise in the production of Hofmann GmbH is rounded off by the surface finishing, coating and corrosion protection of the components to the assembly of complete assemblies and systems for the industrial customer.

The quality level is verified by our own quality management department – certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2008 – and state-of-the-art 3D measuring machines. In addition, Hofmann GmbH is certified according to the strict guidelines DIN ISO 13485 “Manufacture of medical devices”, the ISO / TS 16949 “Production for the automotive industry” will be implemented shortly.
