Reinforcement through further key competencies on the way to becoming a European market leader
Munich, August 12, 2019 – The Munich electronics group KATEK SE, a portfolio company of PRIMEPULSE SE, has – subject to the final examination by the competition authorities – acquired all shares of bebro electronic GmbH and eSystems MTG GmbH from MAGENWIRTH Technologies GmbH, Bad Urach .

This makes the two companies the fourth and fifth member of the rapidly growing group of companies KATEK SE with the existing units Steca Elektronik GmbH, Katek GmbH and ETL Elektrotechnik Lauter GmbH at the Memmingen, Grassau and Mauerstetten locations.

bebro and eSystems employ 550 people and achieve a total output of almost 90 million euros. In addition to the classic EMS business at the Frickenhausen and Horni Sucha (Czech Republic) locations, bebro has built up the subsidiary beflex electronic GmbH with a focus on measurement technology, industry and medicine.

The fast growing beflex concentrates on the business with prototypes and small series, which are created at the three locations Frickenhausen, Munich and Witten in close cooperation with the engineers of the customers. The independent eSystems develops solutions and systems in the field of electromobility for the most well-known automobile manufacturers in the world, such as the intelligent charging of electric vehicles as part of Smart Home and Smart Grid.

KATEK forms the electronics division of the technology-oriented PRIMEPULSE group of companies based in Munich.
