Inspection / serialization solutions for the pharmaceutical industry
Seidenader offers high-tech solutions for the inspection of containers for liquid and dry sterile products. State-of-the-art image processing techniques for optical control are as much a part of this as inspection technologies with high voltage or near-infrared spectroscopy. For patient safety, Seidenader develops serialization solutions that enable traceability of the product throughout the entire manufacturing and distribution process.
Since 1895 Seidenader has been developing and building high quality machines for the pharmaceutical industry. For more than 20 years, the intelligent image processing systems used for automatic inspection have also been developed in-house. Many years of experience combined with the customer’s knowledge have resulted in a comprehensive range of semi-automatic and fully automated Parenteralia inspection machines. The spectrum ranges from table models for laboratory applications to high-performance machines for the multi-shift production of large pharmaceutical producers. In addition, Seidenader manufactures machines for the external cleaning of glass containers, as well as inspection, sorting and reading systems for tablets, dragees, etc. Seidenader addresses the growing needs of the pharmaceutical industry worldwide with the development of complementary inspection technologies, automation solutions for the control of complex production and packaging lines as well as comprehensive serialization solutions for pharmaceutical products.
Seidenader Maschinenbau GmbH is headquartered in Markt Schwaben near Munich, Germany, and belongs to the Körber Medipak Group since January 2011 http://www.medipak-systems.com/de/startseite/
Semi-automatic inspection
Visual inspection of a wide range of pharmaceutical containers – with the help of machines or handy desktop devices. Pharmaceutical products, such as parenterals, administered as an injection or infusion must be inspected for foreign bodies. In larger productions, this control is usually taken over by fully automatic systems. For smaller lines, special products or other reasons, visual inspection is sometimes the preferred option. To facilitate visual inspection, a magnifying glass and, depending on the container, product and inspection criteria, different light systems are available. In addition, a transport system for the containers can accelerate the inspection.
