PCO was founded in 1987 with the goal of developing fast and sensitive video cameras that meet the specific, high demands of scientific applications. Meanwhile, the product range of PCO AG includes digital camera systems with high dynamics, high resolution and low noise, which are used internationally in both scientific and industrial applications.

Meanwhile, PCO is one of the leading manufacturers of scientific cameras. Global representatives, along with our sales and technical support, ensure that PCO is close to the customer and understands the needs of each application. The current wide range of specialized camera systems is the result of technical challenges and product-specific know-how. A design based on state-of-the-art technology, a high standard of production and strict quality control guarantee high reliability of the camera systems. Our own developments, combined with excellent contact with leading image sensor manufacturers, give us access to state-of-the-art CCD and CMOS technologies for our cameras.

Since 2001 PCO can be found in the company building in Kelheim on the shores of the beautiful and international Danube.
