Macnica was headquartered in 1972 as a semiconductor distribution company
Founded in Yokohama, Japan, it has 65 sales offices in Asia, Europe and the United States. More than 2,600 employees work worldwide and the consolidated annual income in the fiscal year 2015 was approximately $ 4 billion.
Macnica is known for its excellent engineering team of more than 610 application engineers, IC designers and software developers, and their focused focus on providing superior technical support to our customers. Macnica continues to expand its global market presence with the help of strategic and successful partners.

About Macnica Europe GmbH

Macnica’s European headquarters was originally founded in the UK in 2006 and relocated to Germany in March 2009 to enhance the effectiveness of the service for European customers.

The acquisition of Munich-based Scantec Mikroelektronik GmbH in 2014 resulted in a high-performance semiconductor distribution with branches in Munich and Ingolstadt as well as numerous sales offices in Europe and an attractive portfolio of technologically sophisticated components.

Macnica Europe provides its customers with extensive technical and logistical support, from design through to production through its global service network, regardless of the final destination of the product delivery or the customer’s manufacturing facility.
