IMO slewing rings
For over 20 years IMO has been developing, producing and selling ball and roller slewing rings as well as sprockets in the diameter range from 100 mm to 6,000 mm in a large variety of designs. These find z. In the following areas:
Construction machinery, crane and lifting technology, tunneling technology, shipbuilding, medical technology, bulk handling. As a supplier to beverage bottling plants, IMO serves the leading manufacturers in the industry.
Slewing rings from IMO have a sealed raceway system and can be supplied externally or internally toothed. The bearing rings can be combined with pinion, planetary gear and / or motors.
IMO is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of 1- and 2-row ball slewing rings used as blade flange and tower head bearings as well as for azimuth sprockets up to a diameter of 6,000 mm.
These are used for both onshore and offshore wind turbines in the range of 100 kW to 7+ MW. Roller slewing bearings from IMO are used as main bearings for gearless / shaftless wind turbines.
The construction of the first commercially operated tidal power plant off the coast of Northern Ireland caused a stir worldwide. At a depth of more than 20 m, IMO slewing rings are used as blade flange bearings under extreme pressure conditions and environmental conditions.
