About us
Since KW Energie GmbH & Co. KG started building cogeneration units in 1995, the company has rapidly developed from pioneer to leading manufacturer of vegetable oil CHP.
Very soon the product range was extended to gas CHP. With this expansion of the product range, KW Energie was able to establish a strong market position in the segment of 7.5 to 50 kW el. The main success factors were the flexibility (CHPs for grid parallel, grid replacement and island operation) as well as the reliability estimated by customers. In the meantime, the company is one of the top ten German CHP manufacturers in CHPs in this performance class.
With the introduction of the completely redesigned smartblock, the company has set new standards for mini CHPs in terms of compactness and innovative, technical solutions. At the company headquarters in Freystadt currently work over 50 employees.
