Forchheim – more than just a location
Our journey begins in 1946. The brothers Kurt and Bruno Waasner found
the Elektromechanischen Werkstätten in Schlüsselfeld. Six years later
, it is relocated to Forchheim. At this time,
the focus was already on the development and production of core sheets made of electrical steel strip or cold strip for
transformers and electric motors. Our location Forchheim, called
“Gateway to Franconian Switzerland”, is located in the Nuremberg area. Located halfway
between Frankfurt am Main and Munich, we can rely on ideal national
and international transport links.
