Department Mathematik

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg

The Department of Mathematics is part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and comprises eleven chairs. The Department of Mathematics is housed in a new building at Cauerstraße 11 on the campus Erlangen Süd.

In the new building, students have access to lecture halls, practice and PC internship rooms with state-of-the-art technology and a modern library. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to meet in the communication zones on each floor for common exchange and group work.
